Speakeasy

Club Ocho’s speakeasy, is our venue for live music, entertainment, wellbeing and member events. From acoustic sessions and DJ nights to talks, workshops and wellness sessions, it hosts a varied programme that gives members something new to enjoy throughout the year.

With its own bar and a rich, low-lit design, the Speakeasy is a relaxed room to spend an evening in. Whether you’re listening to a live performance, chatting with a guest speaker, or catching up with friends over a drink, the atmosphere is warm and easy to be part of.

It’s a room that sums up what Club Ocho is about: culture, creativity and community coming together through a calendar of events that celebrates both local talent and bigger names.

Friday Live Music

From DJ sets to a live saxophonist, there’s live music playing in the speakeasy every Friday and Saturday, with no charge for members and their guests.

Located on the lower ground floor, the Speakeasy is also available for private hire, with its own break-away area that makes it a good fit for team-building events.

• Standing. Up to 70 guests. Seated. Up to 30 guests.
• Day hire. Minimum spend £1,000 (Tuesday to Saturday).
• Evening hire. Minimum spend £2,000 (Monday to Thursday), £5,000 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
